Privacy policy

Last updated September 26, 2026. ASO Lab is a free toolkit for Google Play app store optimization. This page explains what data the site uses and why.

What we collect

  • No account, no sign-up. ASO Lab does not ask for your name, email or password.
  • Your workspace stays in your browser. Saved apps, keywords, notes and settings are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not sent to our servers as a profile. Clearing your browser data removes them.
  • Search requests. When you research a keyword or analyze an app, the keyword, app ID and country you choose are sent to our server to fetch the answer. We keep anonymous copies of public results (for example keyword positions and chart rankings) to build history and make the tool faster. They are not linked to you.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) for security and troubleshooting, for a limited time.

Cookies and tracking

ASO Lab does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party pixels. We use Google Search Console, which reports how our pages appear in Google Search without placing cookies on your device.

Data we show

App, chart and advertising information comes from public sources: Google Play listings and charts, the Google Ads Transparency Center, and public install estimates. Monthly search volumes come from Google Ads Keyword Planner through the Google Ads API. We use the Google Ads API only to read aggregate keyword search volumes; we do not access, change or share anyone’s advertising campaigns or personal data through it.

Google API services

ASO Lab’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google account access is used only by the site operator to connect the Google Ads API; visitors are never asked to sign in with Google.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site (hosting and database) or when required by law.

Your choices

You can use every tool without giving any personal information. To delete your saved workspace, clear the site data in your browser. For any privacy question or request, contact us at the contact address shown on this page once it is published.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
