Built for Google Play only
Most ASO suites split their attention between the App Store and Google Play. ASO Lab only does Google Play, so every number comes from the Play Store itself: its search results, its search suggestions, its charts and its install counts. Searches, suggestions and keyword ranks use each country’s main store language, so a German keyword is checked the way people in Germany search.
What is free, and why
Every tool is free with no sign-up. Your saved apps and keywords stay in your browser. There are fair-use limits per visitor so a single script cannot slow the service down for everyone else; normal use never reaches them.
Where the numbers come from
- Keyword positions: the app’s place in the Google Play search results for that country, checked live and saved daily.
- Demand score: how early Google Play suggests the phrase as you type, a 1–100 score for comparing keywords.
- Search volume: average monthly Google Search searches from Google Ads Keyword Planner. Google does not publish Play Store search counts.
- Installs: Google Play’s own install count for the app, saved every day; installs over a period are the difference between two days.
Who uses it
Indie developers choosing a title and short description, small studios tracking a handful of keywords across markets, and marketers checking what competitors rank for and advertise before a launch.
