How to check your keyword rankings

1. Open your app. Paste its Google Play link above. ASO Lab finds the keywords your listing already ranks for.
2. Add the keywords you care about. In Keywords, type phrases one per line, or add suggestions from research.
3. Pick the country. Positions are checked in that country’s Play Store and language.
4. Come back. Each check is saved, so the table shows ▲/▼ changes and a 90-day history line for every keyword.

What a position means

The position is your app’s place in the Google Play search results for that phrase, from 1 (first result) down to the last result returned. “Not ranked” means the app was not in the results we scanned. Results can differ slightly between devices and accounts, so treat a move of one or two places as noise and look at the trend.

Daily rank history

Positions are saved every time a keyword is checked and for keywords other users track, so most popular phrases have a daily history. Click a keyword’s history line to see every saved day. This is how you see whether a title change, an update or a ratings drop moved your rankings.

Ranks in every country

An app can be #3 for “pdf scanner” in the United States and #40 in India. Switch the country to check each market; ASO Lab uses the local store language for each one. Use the Country ranks view to see where the app appears in the Top Free charts.
